Gauteng, Johannesburg R40 000 - R50 000 - 6 month contract
Leading Transport Company requires a Transport Route Analyst with a relevant Industrial Engineering degree or similar qualification, coupled with at least 4 years experience in a similar optimising transport routes. Must be highly computer literate and have experience working on related route planning software system like FLO. Must be available immediately to assist on a contract basis
Skills Required
Matric
An Industrial Engineering Degree or similar qualification
4 years experience in a similar role optimising transport routes
Experience must within FMCG
Computer Literacy on a MS Office and a related route planning software system
Communication in English and Afrikaans
Additional
Duties include:
Responsible for transport route planning using route planning software like FLO etc.
Ensure cost effective routes are planned
Responsible for competitor analysis to ensure maximum coverage in the region
Continuously monitoring market developments and changes
Implementation of a transport information system
Responsible for weekly and monthly reports
Ensuring that daily routes adhere to KPI's
