An established company in the Research Industry requires the skill of a Biostatistician to provide statistical support to the Malaria Programme's staff and external collaborators. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, traveling nationally and internationally, contributing to the scientific output of the programme as well as contributing towards the development of the statistical skills among scientists employed in the programme.
Skills Required
Matric
Masters degree in Statistics with 2 years experience/PhD degree
Appropriate computer skills with statistical packages STATA or SPSS
Experience with participating in large scale projects
Additional
written and verbal communication skills
ability to engage in skills transfer
Possess the drive to study further
